Iron Man Madness

So, Iron Man is probably my number one favorite super hero of all time and in case you haven't been keeping up he's been going through rough times in the comics world. Usually after one of these major downer story arcs he gets an armor overhaul and, as usual, I like to think I'm designing it. So an hour or so of pencil to paper here's what I came up with.

Female persuasion

Girls holding guns can be just as cute as girls holding Pokemon. But which would you rather have in a fight? I'd choose the lightning shooting hamster-mouse over the .45 any day!

Super heroes, FIGHT!

Maybe I was inspired by the release of Marvel vs. Capcom HD. Maybe I just wanted to practice drawing the Hulk and Batman. Neither of which am I ever completely happy with the results, but this one turned out palatable.

"V" is for Vigilante

Here's a hooded vigilante I drew on the train one night. I know they're a dime a dozen nowadays but that didn't stop me. I realized afterwards, it looks like 2 guys one's just smaller, but rest assured it's supposed to be the same guy, just without the coat.

"Heaven Shattering Crimson Face"

This is Yoko from the anime series Gurren Lagaan. In Japan it's called Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, which apparently translates to "Heaven Shattering Crimson Face"(don't say this isn't an educational BLOG). It's obviously not a finished sketch but I had to get something up, to get this nagging out of my head.
